This piece really got my gears turning. You absolutely nail it about this new phase of AI; the idea of systems generating their own training environments is just wild, like a proper recursive loop! So exciting for the tech. You're spot on to also highlight the ethical questions and security alerts though. It's a massive shift with so much to unpack.

The self-referncing training loop you describe is fascinatin because it fundamentaly changes the constraint on AI developement. When systems can generate their own training enviroments, we're no longer bottlenecked by real-world data collection. The real question becomes whether synthetic worlds introduce novel biases or whether they actually help models generalize better by exposing them to edge cases that rarely occur in reality.
