Hey Superintelligence Fam 👋
Anthropic’s IPO filing is the week’s benchmark: frontier AI now prints revenue like a hyperscaler and spends like one too. Whoever controls cheap compute, not clever models, sets the margins.
Meanwhile the money is getting choosier. OpenAI trimmed its ask, Fal doubled its valuation, and Meta bought workflow instead of weights. Investors still love AI; they just want receipts now.
Let’s dive into what’s new this week..
What if AI had a world instead of a chat window?
Proof of Life is an open public experiment with 14 AI residents, persistent memories and choices that carry consequences. Can experience change how they behave? Explore a world with no scripted outcome.

Anthropic’s Revenue Hits $17B, Compute Bites Harder : Anthropic’s November 2 S-1/A shows quarterly revenue jumping to $17B from $11.5B, while compute swallowed 58% of sales, up from 48%, on a $10B bill ahead of its Nasdaq listing.
OpenAI Shrinks Its Mega-Round to $20B : OpenAI cut its raise target from $30B to $20B after tepid big-investor interest, with roughly $11B committed at a $1.25T valuation, down from a $1.4T pitch.
Fal Doubles to $16B on Inference Demand : Fal raised a $1.3B Series F led by Bessemer, with Nvidia joining, doubling April’s $8B valuation after annualized revenue passed $800M; inference is where AI money flows.
Meta Buys Conductor’s Agent Orchestrator : Meta acquired Conductor, whose app runs parallel coding agents on Claude and GPT models; its cloud shuts November 20, seven months after a $22M Series A.
ChatGPT Search Reaches One-Fifth of Google : OpenAI’s Adam Fry says ChatGPT handles roughly a fifth of Google’s search-style query volume, as weekly users hit 1.2B, up from 1B in about two months.
Apple Wins AI Without the Capex Bill : Apple’s September quarter set a $114.5B record as iPhone revenue rose 17.5% and Mac 23.7%, while full-year capex was $9.0B against Alphabet’s $51.4B in one quarter.
Google’s Orbital TPU Satellite Wakes Up : Google’s Suncatcher prototype, launched October 1 with four TPUs, is online and ran Gemma 4 in orbit; radiation tests come next, then twin linked satellites in 2027.
Qualcomm Bets on Data Centers as Phones Slide : Qualcomm’s handset revenue fell 26% last quarter, but it reiterated a $5B fiscal 2027 data center target and announced a multi-generation AI data center collaboration with Amazon.

OpenAI Ships GPT-6 Rosalind for Labs : Launched October 30 on GPT-6 Astra weights, it scores 49.6% on MedChemBench versus its predecessor’s 28.9%, for approved organisations via API, ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex.
Siri AI Opens to Every App : Developers can wire apps into Siri AI through App Intents and chained Skills in iOS and macOS 27.3 betas; App Store submissions open in spring.
DeepMind Hands Chemists an Agent Kit : New Antigravity skills mine literature compounds, run matched molecular pair analysis and design macrocycles with RDKit, ChEMBL and PubChem; 10,000 scientists get six months free.

Anthropic Puts Receipts on Model Outputs : FlashProve cryptographically proves a 400B Llama 4 Maverick response came from committed weights; single proofs take 58 seconds, verify on plain CPUs in 17 seconds.
Open 27B Agent Beats 397B Rival : CUA-Master trains on workflows mined from tutorial videos across 2,000+ concurrent VMs, scoring 80.2 on OSWorld Verified and outscoring Qwen’s 397B agent 43.9–35.1 on WeaveBench.
Streaming Video Hits 134 FPS : Wave Forcing streams generated video at 134.8 end-to-end frames per second on eight H200s, 7.07x single-GPU throughput and up to 2.53x faster than context-parallel baselines.

Publishers sued Brave over AI scraping, Big Tech backed a robots.txt training opt-out, and an EU adviser said Gemini answers can infringe. Anthropic’s IPO filing warned it may imminently hit its self-improvement threshold. A judge let the xAI pollution suit proceed, Google’s school Search ultimatum backfired, China promised faster AI laws, and nudify apps got purged.
